Christopher Robicheau Obituary

Christopher William Robicheau, 48

Oakham - Chris Robicheau passed away in a tragic car accident on 5/31/18. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Celia, and their three wonderful children, Victoria, Rebecca, and Alexander, and his loyal dog Arthur. He is also survived by his parents, Bonnie and Richard Robicheau, his brother Jason, his wife Erin, and nieces, Belle, Lexi, McKinsey and Paige. Chris is also survived by many cousins, uncles, aunts, friends and incredible people that touched his heart throughout his life.

Chis was a veteran of the Air Force. He attended and excelled as an air jet mechanic at East Coast Air Tech. He was a proud Eagle Scout and had volunteered to lead his son Alex's Cub Scout troop. He had coached little league and volunteered to chaperone many school field trips.

Chris graduated from Anna Maria College with a Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies. He received a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Cambridge College, and a second Master's Degree in English as a Second Language from Worcester State University.

Chris adored his students at Quinsigamond Elementary School where he taught ELL. He had also taught regular education and ELL at Elm Park School and Columbus Park School.

Chris was devoted to his family and his children were the light of his world. He spent hours tinkering in the garage with Alex. He loved to take the kids swimming, fishing, to museums and to concerts. He never missed any soccer and basketball games, cheer competitions, plays and dance recitals. He was a passionate collector of Australian Ford Falcon cars and car pieces. He was funny, charismatic, kind, giving and had endless curiosity. He was an avid world traveler and was always willing to learn new things, try it all and meet new people.

Chris will be missed everyday by everyone who had the blessing to meet him.

Celia, V, R & A -

There are no words that we can give you to take away the grief for this unimaginable loss. Chris was an amazing person and I've looked up to him my entire life. He was my closest cousin in age and I have so many memories of times with him over the past four decades. Losing him so young is a tragedy none of us can reconcile in our minds or hearts and his warmth and smile will be with us always. Our family roots run deep and we will always be here for you.

Love you,
Donovan & Emily

Dear Celia, Victoria, Rebecca, Alex, Richard, and Bonnie,
Words fall incredibly short at expressing how sorry I am about the loss of your husband, father, and son. Chris was the most incredible friend I could ask for. We supported each other through life's highs and lows for the 28 years that I knew him and I will miss him every day for the rest of my life. I wish you all peace and healing through this time of tragic and unexpected loss.
Sincerely,
Chance
