I was shocked to read David's obituary in the Birmingham News this morning. David was a close friend in high school. I am sorry we lost contact over the years but I have the most wonderful memories of David and all his family during our Bessemer High School years.

I know his family will miss him but I hope the great memories I know you have of David will comfort you over the years.

My sympathy to his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sister and especially Carroll and Marty.

All of you will be in my thoughts for many days to come.

Although I didn't know David very well, as Emily Sullivan's Mom, I always heard wonderful things about him and the rest of the family. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing and will be keeping him and the family in my prayers. May God comfort you through this time of great loss.
