Missing you Always...
You never said I'm leaving.
You never said Goodbye.
You were gone before I knew it
and only God knows why.

In life I loved you dearly
in death I love you still.
In my heart I hold a place
that only you can fill.

It broke my heart to lose you.
But you didn't go alone.
A part of me went with you.
The day God took you home.

My heart still aches with sadness, and many tears still flow, what it meant to lose you, no one will ever know. I hold you close within my heart and there you will remain. To walk with me throughout my life until we meet again. I had a tree planted today in your memory. Remembering the little pine tree you nurtured in the front yard that is growing big and strong and for the cardinals that you whistled to all day long. FOREVER IN MY HEART. Love Sheila

Between you and me on Fathers day....

Do you know how it feels to have you as my father?

It's like wherever I walk there's a safety net beneath me to catch me if I should stumble.

It's like no matter where I am I am never quite alone. You're a part of me.

Maybe it comes from looking up to you for as long as I can remember.

Maybe it comes from knowing that whatever life holds your love will always be there.

I just know that having you as my dad makes my world a little brighter, my heart a little warmer, my troubles lighter, and my joys so much deeper.

Love you Dad (my angel). Jackie

I am saddened to hear of the passing of DJ. He was always someone that kept you laughing and up beat. Every time you were with him you would also know that the conversation would always end up about Sheila and the girls. His biggest attribute was that his heart was always in the right place. Rest in peace my friend.

First and foremost Dave loved you Sheila and the girls. He would always brag about you to me! He was not only an excellent salesman to me for 20+ years, he became a friend. We talked often. I know he would do anything for me. Most of all he could make me laugh hysterically....usually by poking fun at me. I am very sad to learn DJ has passed. He will be missed.

We are saddened by this sudden and heart-breaking news. Our thoughts are with his wife, children and family. No words or offerings will ever fill this void. Only time will help ease the pain. Please know when he walked through our door, we knew we were in for a good joke and a hardy laugh.

I remember Uncle David as always the one that made everyone laugh. He said what was in his heart and I remember spending time with him when I was a lot younger and him telling me how much he loved me...my heart goes out to all of us Shute's and especially Sheila, Jacqueline, Annemarie and Gram. I pray that our hearts be full of love and peace as we celebrate the life and love of Uncle David.
