Dori Kahale Obituary

Dori Kahale, 50, of Sutton, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident while on a business trip in Ghana, Africa.

Dori is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Tammy (Fair) Kahale; his four devoted children: Adisson, Kyle, Hana and Austin Kahale; seven siblings: Jacqueline Ventriglia, Houda Daou, Yvette Aboody and her husband George, Samira Shalhoub and her husband Ronald, Elie Kahale and his wife Marianna, Tanios Kahale, George Kahale and his wife Mona; seventeen nieces, and nephews, numerous extended family and many friends.

Dori was born in Beirut, Lebanon son of Wadih and the late Georgette (Yanni) Kahale. Dear Jackie, Tammy and Children:
The loss of a person as well loved as Dori is heartbreaking. Tammy, I remember how welcome both you and Dori made Dave and I and mom and Ken feel when we spent a Christmas Eve together at your beautiful home in Sutton. The big smile and the big hug from a big guy with a big heart was such a special and warm feeling. I remember how he loved to dance at Jackie's home at Thanksgiving, at Jackie's 50th birthday party and at Tammy's party when she became a nurse. Boy Tammy was he proud of you and your children. I hope your entire family will remember how happy he always was and that the memories of all the fun times will help get you all thru this difficult time.
You will be in our hearts and in our prayers. God Bless you all.

Dear Tammy and Family,
When we joined Our Lady of Mercy Maronite Catholic Church last year, we were immediately embraced by the warmth and love of the Kahale family. Our memories of Dori will always be of his kind smile, laid back ways and the pure warmth and serenity that surrounded him. Whenever you saw Dori you were drawn to him. To be in his presence meant your soul was going to be refreshed. How blessed were all of us who knew him.

We also were blessed to meet and work with Dori's sisters at our new church. The parents of both Dori and his siblings had to be really special to produce such wonderful children. How blessed are Tammy and her children to have had Dori as husband and father. In time that was way too brief, may you find some small comfort in knowing you were surrounded by more genuine love than most people ever get to experience in a life time.

God Bless,

Lynn Grant

Dear Tammy and Dori's Beloved Children: I knew Dori from GBG.
He is one of the nicest men I have ever met. He spoke of all of you at every meeting. He would say that he quit the corporate world to spend more time with his wife and children. He wanted the opportunity to be at all of his children's events and be actively involved in their lives. He wanted to do well in order for his wife to be at home with his children more. I can't express how shocked my family and I were learn the news. You are all in our prayers. May God bless you all. Sicerely Patricia Workman, Acushnet, Massachusetts
