Gail Keith Obituary

Gail M. Keith, 78

Grafton - Gail M. (Johnson) Keith passed away on June 12, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was a caring wife and married her high school sweetheart Bob in 1960 and they remained devoted to each other for over 60 years. Gail was a dedicated mother, and an extremely proud grandmother and great grandmother.

Gail is survived by her adoring husband Robert J. Keith, Sr. along with six loving children; her sons Steven Keith residing in North Grafton, Brian Keith of Worcester, Robert Keith, Jr. along with his wife Stacey in Sutton and Craig Keith in Rhode Island as well as daughter-in-law Tina Keith from Connecticut. Gail also leaves two daughters: Robin Dyer from Shirley, MA as well as Michelle and husband Randy Rebidue of Brookfield, MA. She also leaves behind 12 treasured grandchildren who were the apple of her eye; Steven Keith Jr.. and his wife Rachel, Jeffrey Keith and his girlfriend Amanda; Johnny Dyer, Britnii Dyer and her partner Greg Janda; Tyler, Lindsey and Brianna Keith, Tanya Aspden and her husband Michael as well as Ryan Belmore; Jacob Keith and his partner Leah Dillon, Jordan Keith and his wife Autumn and Jillian Keith. Gail also leaves behind her most cherished great-grandchildren: Brody, Brooklyn and Blake Keith as well as Dylan Keith; Alyssa, Faith and Trevah Dyer/Martinez; Jaxon, Aria and Isla Aspden; Baby Janda and Baby Keith expected in October. She also leaves her brother-in-law Richard Laflamme Sr. "Hawk" and his family.

Gail was predeceased by her father Phillip W. Johnson, her mother Linnea E. (Soderstrom) Johnson and her sister Judith L. Laflamme, as well as beloved granddaughter Christy and her infant son Christopher.

Gail retired from Grafton/Westborough State Hospital after 33 years of service as a mental health worker and in her last three years of employment was promoted to Mental Health Worker 4. She was a member of the local 1153 and recording secretary of the union for many years.

Gail's love of her life Bob was her rock, best friend and soul mate. She was a friend, confidante and role model to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was generous, loving, supportive and unselfish when it came to her family. She will always be remembered for sitting at the kitchen table spending countless hours gabbing to her adoring family, her collection of pocketbooks and the mountain of couch pillows that adorned every chair she sat in. She enjoyed going to Foxwoods, Hampton Beach and cherished her dearly departed dog Abbie and her kitten Peeps. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, listening to the music of Johnny Mathis and playing cards with her family and close friends. Gail was always full of sass, always enjoyed a new hairstyle and more than willing to offer her advice. You could always tell the time by her daily customary Dunkin Donuts deliveries. She will be forever loved and missed by all.

All are welcome to gather with Gail's family and friends Wednesday June 16th from 10am to 12pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536 followed by a prayer service at 12pm in the funeral home. She will then be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery in North Grafton.
