Gerard R. Prunier

GRANTS, NM - Gerard (Jerry) R. Prunier, 75, of Grants, New Mexico, died peacefully on Thursday, July 3, 2014. He was born in Uxbridge, Massachusetts.

Jerry graduated from St. Stephen's High School in 1956. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Ruth E. Prunier; parents, Oscar and Grace (Birtz) Prunier, and sister Pauline Goltry.

Jerry is survived by his daughter Vivian Colleta Baker, her husband Gerald, and grandsons Liam and Cailan, all of Ridgecrest, CA; sisters, Lorraine Pauze of Albuquerque, NM, and Janet Strohhofer of Richmond, VA; many nieces, nephews, and Godsons.

Burial with military honors will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at North Cemetery, Oxford, Massachusetts.

Sorry for your loss. I used to go fishing with his father, Oscar, when he lived with Leo on Branch St. in Worcester. I never knew Gerard, but I will never forget his father.
