Jake Tashjian Obituary
He leaves his parents, Hagop "Jake" and Virginia (Barsamian) Tashjian; three brothers, Steven Tashjian and his wife Gina of Boylston, twin brothers, Mark M. Tashjian and his companion Debbie formerly of West Boylston and Michael M. Tashjian and his wife Darlene of Rutland; two nephews, Adam and Ara Tashjian; three nieces, Alexis, Brianna and Rachael Tashjian and many aunts and uncles.
He was born in Worcester; and was a graduate of St. John's High School and attended Assumption College. Jake had worked as a pharmaceutical technician for several area pharmacies. He was a member of Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, the NRA and was a NRA Certified Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun instructor. Jake loved gardening, playing the guitar and was an avid Patriots fan and Elvis fan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an outdoorsman.
The funeral is Monday, March 14th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, 635 Grove Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home the day of the funeral. Memorial contribution may be made to Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, 635 Grove Street, Worcester, MA 01605.

Sunday,March 27,2011 10:30pm I am so very sorry for your loss! i know it has been years since we have seen each other,but nevertheless,I needed to send you my condolences and heart felt sympathy. There are so many fond memories of OGIE! His smile , sense of humor , and his love for his family will forever be remembered by all that knew him.May God bless you all and hold you close to his heart. and may his journey to eternal life be blessed right into Jesus's arms! To the Tashjian brothers and family - My deepest sympathy to all of you. I know you guys as a fellow plumber and I see you in the supply house here and there. Its a sad,difficult situation your in. I know from having lost my older brother last March. Its an awful thing to deal with, but my thought and prayers are with you guys and your family.
