Jason Craig Dunlop

1980-2016

Brooklyn, CT - Jason Craig Dunlop, 35, of Brooklyn and formerly of Sterling, MA passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. He was born in Worcester, MA on December 7, 1980, son of Craig E. and Sandra M. (Tears) Dunlop of Brooklyn. Jason attended local schools in Sterling, MA, graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, MA and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Jason was a former employee of Davis farmland in Sterling, MA. He was a software developer at Mad-Doc Software in Lawrence, MA and was Assistant Manager of Farm Operations at Gould Farm in Monterey, MA. Jason enjoyed helping others, farming and volunteered at Blue Cliff Monastery in Pine Bush, NY.

Besides his parents he is survived by his Grandfather, Edward Dunlop, his sisters, Cara Coraccio-Bellantone and husband Stephen of Brooklyn and Cathy Dunlop of Brooklyn; nieces and nephews, Vincent, Crystal, Daniel, Samantha, Alexander, Anthony, Contessa, Summer, Mary, Megan and Jaime. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in Tillinghast Funeral Home, 433 Main Street, Danielson. Burial will be in South Cemetery, Brooklyn. In lieu of flowers please give a tax deductible contribution to LymeDisease.org at www.LymeDisease.org/get-involved/donate/.

Dear Sandy and Craig,

We are so sorry for your loss and have been thinking of you during this sad time. I wish I could have been at the funeral and offered my condolences. We were pleased to be able to donate to the Lyme Disease organization and our donation is on behalf of Aunt Carol, Uncle Bus, Anne and her family, and my family. I am praying for strength and peace for you always!

My heart was broken to hear about Jason, a truly gentle soul. I am very blessed to have met Jason and he will forever be in my heart. He touched my life and his wisdom provided so much to my family.
