Im shocked and so sad to learn of my good friend's passing. My deepest condolences to the
entire family , Ava and Kia. Today would have been Jefren's 49th birthday, we lost him way too soon.
I met Jeff along with our other friend Joe , at a blackjack training school in Toronto in 1993. The 3 of us hit it off and became great friends. We were inseparable ,we were known as the 3 amigos, we would work in all the charity casino companies together where in 1 of them Jeff became a GM, he was a great boss, so kind and understanding, always smiling , everybody liked working for him. On our off days ,we would get together to play pool , go to movies, go play poker , go to eat out all the time , ( Jeff really liked sweet and sour pork) Jeff would come to watch Joe and i play hockey , we would go to the track , where Jeff would teach Joe and i about horse racing because he was really good at it, and we spend a lot of time at each others houses. I loved being friends with Jeff, he made me feel so good when i was around him, he was the nicest guy, we had so many great times together, i will cherish those memories forever.
I will miss you so much my dear friend , your legacy will continue in your sweet daughter Ava,
may you rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to the family I have many memories of jefren as we were childhood friend and as we went to St Patrick's till grade 5 then St Mary's all those bike rides and playing video games when he lived off Baldwin and Henry St we lost touch and just reconnected two years ago. Rest in peace my buddy

My most memorable recollection - one that will never be erased from my mind is Jef's big smile - always with a shadow of a mustache even at age 14! His smile was contagious and it often was accompanied by a giggle then laughter. I will never forget the way I felt around Jef - Happy, calm and safe. I will remember him fondly. Like the priest said in today's mass, "Jef's life has changed not ended". May his memories live in us and his legacy continue in Ava. God bless his soul, his family and friends. Rest In Eternal Peace Jefren.

I can never forget your warm and inviting smile! All the nights and endless hours you practiced pool to carry the team to victory were a blast to watch and I'm proud to have met such an intelligent soul.
