One day, Jack saw my sister chasing after her son sonny, who had gotten out of their unfenced yard. The next day, when my sister got home from work, she found Jack putting up a fence so that Sonny could not escape again. This is just one of those thoughtful things Jack was known to do. His thoughtfulness and kindness to others will always be remembered.

Jack touched many lives in his own unique way. He is and will always be loved and missed by all who knew him.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Ferrie family.

Rest In Peace, & God Bless You.

Linda, John & Michael, I remember when I was a kid attending your parent's wedding and thinking how cool it was that Jack was a member of APD.

Many years later, I would have the opportunity to work with Jack when I was a dispatcher there and he was a patrolman. He would keep me up to date with what was happening with everyone in that branch of the family.

He was proud of his family, and a hard working guy. His candle has not been extinguished but will live on in each of you and everyone that knew him.

Let him rest in Peace,

Lindsey Drew
