Lance Tremblay Obituary
Southbridge - Lance R. Tremblay, 45, of Liberty St., passed away on Thursday, April 27th, in the UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester.
He leaves his loving wife of a year and a half, Lisa M. (Dumont) Tremblay whom he was together with for 11 years; his mother, Ellen M. (Rawson) Tremblay; three sons, Travis N. Tremblay and his mother, Kelly Sullivan of Dudley, Joshua T. Vancelette of Whitman, and Paul J. Vancelette, Jr. of Worcester; two daughters, Marisa L. Cournoyer of Southbridge and Christina J. Cournoyer of Southbridge; three brothers, Kyle Tremblay of Lee, Drake Tremblay of Southbridge, and Drew Tremblay of Charlton; a sister, Wendy Vilandre and her fiancée Gary Morin of Hardwick; five grandchildren, Jacinda, Izzabella, Aiidyn, Annabell, and Aiinsly. He was predeceased by a sister, Michelle Tremblay. Lance was born in Southbridge the son of the late Ralph E. Tremblay. He worked as a Haas machine programmer for many years the past 5 years for Valley Design in Shirley, MA. Lance attended college in Boston and at a young age obtained his private pilot's license. He loved the outdoors and hiking. Lance enjoyed playing golf and trips to Webster Lake with his beloved dog Charlie. Above all Lance loved his family and truly enjoyed spending time with them.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Friday, May 5th, from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Funeral services and burial will be private. Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge is directing the arrangements.

My heart goes out to the whole family he willl be greatly missed.I feel lucky to have shared some great childhood memories with him like dressing up like ninjas running around town just being crazy kids.He was a good person and always found a way to just have fun and enjoy the outdoors .He will be remembered forever.God bless

This was such a shock to read. It was very sad to learn of Lance's passing. I lived on Goddard St, and we all played together as kids - he was the first boy I went "out" with (I think we were in third grade) :)
I know he will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to meet him.

To the extended Tremblay family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I will always remember the laughter-filled, mischievous childhood shenanigans that I shared with Lance and crew. We didn't know it then, but we were incredibly lucky to be a part of the Chapin/Dresser/Bowlen Ave/Goddard Street gang. I look back fondly on every last one of those kids/families and memories; and I carry them with me in my heart, always. I'm so sorry. My deepest condolences and blessings to all of you.
