I listened to Mark for decades, starting at WORC in the sixties. All the way up to his XM days. WBCN were great years and he was the best too. Thanks for the enjoyment. Sorry for you and your family. RIP.

Mark, I listened to you and all the other BCN alumni for many years! Although we never met, I feel like I lost an old friend. Condolences to your family. Rest easy.

I loved listening to BCN during my afternoon drive home on Rte 128 in the late 1980s. I used to laugh out loud while driving alone in my car. Mark Parenteau was the best.

Dear Barry and family,
I haven't seen you or Mark in such a long time but the old neighborhood memories are with me still. Your parents, my parents, the Bennetts and Xenos's and all us 'kids' had wonderful families to grow up in. May sweet memories help you.
RIP Mark you are remembered fondly.

A true giant in every way. If there was a rock and roll museum for radio he would be one of the first inductees.

I remember when you moved in up the street from me. Of course you were at our door right away to meet us! Our families became life long friends. Your mom called you fannel mouth, little did she know then that that incessant talking would make you our most famous neighbor! I have so many wonderful memories of all the Parenteaus, even Francis the Duck! You are missed my friend. Love to you and Barry's family.
