For some reason I had thoughts of Norman recently. Guess it was when I came across an obit from someone from Woodstock, Strange. Still remember his quiet manner and through work ethic. We played some tennis once in a while and he was consistent and would where one down just keeping the ball coming back. He was 20 years my senior so he played careful returns until he got you in a spot he could put you away. Great guy. Thanks for remembering me on his anniversary. Hard to believe he has been gone so long. Hope all his girls are doing well and maybe there is one of them with Normans attitude and easy going way of life.

My sympathy to Mr. Laliberte's family-- My family lived across the street from Mr. Laliberte (we moved in in 1983)and he watched my sister and I grow up. I remember when he and Barbara brought us Christmas presents when we were little. He was such a nice man-- he even came to my wedding in 2004. He will be missed.

We last saw Norman at the end of October in Woodstock. We came to Florida on Nov. 1. Barbara and Norman went to Mass with my mother, Mary Kowal every day in Pomfret. We always had breakfast with them in the Village Restaurant. We will miss Norman as we do Barbara. Our prayers and sympathy are with the family. God bless you all. They were truly great friends and neighbors in Woodstock. Sincerely, Anthony & Patricia Kowal Woodstock, CT. & Avon Park, Fl.

Sorry to hear of Norman passing this week. He lived a long life, Not surprised as he was a very relaxed person. I worked with Norman for a number of years at AO. Always enjoyed his soft humour and easy going personality.
