Patrick Blaney Obituary
WESTBOROUGH - BLANEY, Patrick Thomas, age 26, of Westborough, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014.
Patrick is survived by his parents, Michael and Marlene, his brother, Philip, and his sister, Katelyn. Patrick is also survived by his grandparents, Tom and Lyda Livingstone, and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Patrick was known by many, and loved by all. He was a talented soccer player, winning a state championship with his Westborough team in 2002. Patrick graduated from St. John's High School in 2007, where he was a three year starter on the varsity soccer team. Patrick was gifted with computers, both building and selling, and was an award-winning technology sales specialist.
Visiting hours will be Friday, May 16 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Funeral Home, 62 West Main St. Westborough, MA. The funeral will be Saturday, May 17 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough, MA. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Pat's name to Saint John's High School, Office of Advancement, 378 Main Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.

Patrick was the big brother I never had. He was there in the shadows, but always was willing to lend an extra hand. Whenever I had a computer problem I knew exactly who to call. He was always so happy and uplifting. Heaven gained an angel to light the skies for us all. Rest in Peace Patrick.

Bruce, Clark, Julie and I were so saddened to hear of Patrick's death. I know his passing has left an enormous void. I saw Patrick a few weeks ago and got a big smile and hug and chance to catch up. I am so grateful for that. Clark and Julie will always remember Patrick as their favorite babysitter-the "fun" one. We are all in California until the 18th, so we will not make it to St. Luke's. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Pat was an amazing person. He would always cheer me up when i was in a bad mood. He was always smiling and joking around. He will truly be missed. I'm so sorry for your loss.
