Patrick T. Kelley

Patrick T. Kelley, 80, of Shrewsbury, and formerly of Worcester and Westborough, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at the Autumn Village Nursing Center.

He leaves his wife, Margaret M. (Floyd) Kelley, a son, Patrick T. Kelley Jr., a daughter, Robin Kelley; three grandchildren, Evan, Morgan and Alyssa Kelley, a stepdaughter, Deborah Duvarney, nephews and nieces.

His granddaughter, Marissa Shea Kelley, two brothers, Malachi M. Kelley Jr. and Edward J. Kelley, and two sisters, Sister Maria Patricia S.S.J. and Mary Alice Falvey, predeceased him.

Mr. Kelley was born in Worcester, son of Malachi M. and Alice A. (Maguire) Kelley, and lived in Westborough many years before moving to Shrewsbury.

He graduated from St. Peter's High School and the College of the Holy Cross, both in Worcester. He attended Boston College Law School and graduated from New England School of Law in Boston.

Mr. Kelley was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was a business manager at the Westborough State Hospital, where he worked 28 years before retiring. Many years ago, he was a partner in his family's business, Kelley's Rainbow Garden in South Worcester.

The funeral Mass will be Monday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
