Roy Edstrom Obituary
He was born on January 8, 1935 in Lander, WY the son of Harold O. and Louise Green Edstrom. Mr. Edstrom was retired from the US Postal Service, was a member of the U.S.S. Hunt Association, was a past president of NARFE Chapter 262 and served in the US Navy and US Air Force. He enjoyed gardening, walking, cooking, traveling, reading, journaling and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Karolyn Yager Edstrom; son, Christopher W.S. Edstrom of Alto, NM; daughters, Kamby M. Sullivan of Charlton, MA, Mashelle L. Krier of South Portland, ME, Dana G. Schultz of Richmond, VA, Darla S. Vaudreuil of Wellington, FL, and Amy B. Cahill of Sutton, MA; 14 grandchildren.
A memorial service was be held in honor of Mr. Edstrom on Sat. Dec. 12, 2009 at 4:00 PM at Unity of Louisville Church, 757 S. Brook St. in Louisville, KY.

Hard to believe 12 years have passed. I always remember that day very vividly. Extremely dark, cold and windy. The children and I gathered beside your hospital bed to say our final goodbye.
