Samira Moussa Obituary
OXFORD - Samira (Gabriel) Moussa, 61, of Oxford, died Tuesday, November 6th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Elias "Eli" Moussa; three sons, Nayef Moussa of Webster, Michael Moussa and his wife, Lindsey of Northborough and Christopher Moussa of Oxford; and her three brothers, Michel Gabriel and his wife, Rita of Montreal, Samir Gabriel and his wife, Samira of Youngstown, OH and Rabih Gabriel and his wife, Cherine of Sutton; two grandsons, Eli and Ryan Moussa and many nephews and nieces.
She was born in Beit Chabeb, Lebanon the daughter of Alfred and Sayde (Salloum) Gabriel and came to this country in 1980. Samira had worked with her husband as manager and hostess at the Lodge Restaurant in Webster. She was an active member of Our Lady of Mercy Maronite Catholic Church.
Her funeral is Saturday, November 10th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with her funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Maronite Catholic Church, 341 June Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, November 9th from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Another year, how did this happen. I know your family has you in their hearts and minds. Your little grandkids are surely your family, what happy and loving faces they share with your children. Time, not sure about it, but I do know we will meet again in the best place ever with our Lord. God is with you always.

I am so overwhelmed with sadness to hear of Samira passing. Always a wonderful and loving lady, smiling and friendly to all who knew her through her family restaurant in Webster, she made us welcome with every visit. My love goes out to her sons , husband and family. God is with her now, she is at peace and sending love to you always. God be with you all.
