HOLDEN - Warren C. Hyson, Sr., 92, of Holden, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 28, 2016. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, at the First Congregational Church of Holden, 1180 Main St., Holden.

We are praying for Warren's family and friends. Warren was an amazing man and also willing to help. He always would come down and visit John while I was swimming with Marilyn. He would fix anything including our 8 foot slider. Love and prayers

Wonderful to see Warren recently with family and friends and to know that he is at peace now. He was a great friend of my dad and mom and helped my brother and I when we planned our parents 40th Wedding Anniversary. Grateful to have known him since we were children goring up in the neighborhood in Holden. Thinking of your family during this time of loss.

Warren was my first employer fresh out of trade school. He helped me start a life of construction and engineering.
