Eldon PRUDENT Obituary
PRUDENT, Eldon Elizabeth Scott Age 89 of Memphis, TN, retired Kellogg's employee, passed away March 24, 2013 in Nashville, TN. Visitation Sunday, March 31st from 3-5 p.m., at Joe Ford Funeral Home. Homegoing service Monday, April 1st at 1 p.m., in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Mrs. Prudent was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimbo" Prudent, Jr.; mother, Helen Scott Seay; father, Wilton Scott; stepfather, Edward Seay and granddaughter, Lisa Woods Washington. She leaves three daughters, Janice Prudent Woods (William), Elizabeth Prudent Davis (Dr. Ivan) and Helen Prudent Smith (Tyrone); son, James Edward Prudent, Sr. (Karen); sister, Gwendolyn Jewell Smith; grandchildren, William Lawrence Woods (Barbara), Ivan R. Davis, Jr., Helaine L. Woods, Ivanetta Davis Samuels, J.D. (Dr. Dexter), Prudence N. Smith, J.D., and James Edward Prudent, Jr.; special cousin, Nathaniel Broome; special pet, "Bo"; five great-grandchildren, host of other relatives and friends. JOE FORD FUNERAL HOME, (901) 345-6075.

I remember growing up and seeing her, Jimbo and my grandmother, Euzelia Gresham, my aunt, Kathryn Gresham-Stewart and my mother, Delores Gresham-Johnson together quite often.
