Gale Lynn Lain passed peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, October 10, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late Cecil and Mabel Lain.
She is survived by sons, Zachary McCammon (Jessica) and Lain McCammon (Ashley); grandchildren, Kailee Galloway, Hampton McCammon, Kennedy McCammon, Lexi and Blake Ashbrook; sister, Judy Goins Ross; brother, Steve Lain; loving sister-in-law, Sheri Lain.
Gale always looked for the good in each person she encountered and showered them with grace and goodness. She was one that reached out to help those in need. Gale loved persons with an open and deep heart. She was grateful for each act of kindness and concern received during her battle with cancer. She especially remembers her wonderful former co-workers at Delta Dental.
As Gale always said "Have A Blessed Day."
Graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Forest Grove Cemetery in Joelton. Following the graveside, a Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m. at Forest Grove U.M. Church by niece, Rev. Amanda Diamond.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Forest Grove Cemetery, 7982 Whites Creek Pike, Joelton, TN 37080.

Gale was loved at Delta Dental and definitely by me. She sat across from me and her laugh was contagious....what a sweet, sweet lady!

To the lady that had the biggest and most loving heart. I was lucky enough to call you my friend!! I will cherish all the times we left Delta to have lunch together (and meeting up with Zack), the times we celebrated each others Birthdays and Christmas together at Delta. For so long we sat across from each other and talked about family and God. The praying you done for my family (while my son was in and out of the hospital)brought us through some dark times. I will a always remember your lovely face and the way you were always there for me ready to pray and just to talk. God blessed me with a loving friend like you. I know you are out of pain and flying high in the heavens as an Angel. You will be dearly missed but not forgotten for sure. I love you Gale!!!! May God bless your family during this time.
