Jackie Partlow Obituary
Lebanon, TN
Jackie Ray Partlow, age 73, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, known to his family as "Pa", passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014.
Born on July 25, 1940 to the late Samuel Anderson & Alma Rebecca Lannom Partlow, he enjoyed his early childhood days in "The Glade" with his friends and family. He was a 1958 graduate of Lebanon High School, a 1963 Graduate of John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science, and a member of College Hills Church of Christ. Mr. Partlow established Partlow Funeral Chapel in 1979, fulfilling a lifetime of compassion and service.
Jackie enriched so many lives, whether he was taking care of others, traveling with friends, or simply putting a smile on someone's face with a hand shake or a big hug. But of all his accomplishments, his greatest was his family, which he referred to as "his little bunch".
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Linda Partlow; daughter, Jnae R. Partlow; son, Jason Partlow and his wife Kathy; grandchildren, Ashley Blair Greer and her husband Michael, Hunter Lee Reynolds, Jack Anderson Partlow & Grant Alexander Partlow; great-grandchildren, Samuel Paxton Greer "Critter" and Pollyanna Rose Greer "Little Miss", and many special friends.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m., at Partlow Funeral Chapel. Mr. Partlow's family will have a private graveside service at Cedar Grove Cemetery, conducted by lifelong friend, Bro. Larry Locke.
Jackie's family would like to express special thanks to the staff at The Pavilion for all their love, care, and support, and special friend and cardiologist, Dr. Tom McRae and his wonderful staff.

I know that Heaven is really a different place now. The Good Lord has Bubba Woodfin, Jackie Partlow, Jerry Lowery AND Bart Smith!! Don´t you know there is no peace and quiet in that Heavenly home. All are missed. RIP you Guys.

We deeply regret the loss of a very outstanding friend from my years at Lebanon High School and for the years later. Jackie was always encouraging and supportive of others, no matter what challenges they faced. It was a great honor to remain in contact over the years, although I have lived outside of Tennessee for most of our years since LHS. With great love and respect to Jackie's entire family.

Linda, I was so sorry to hear about Jackie this morning. He was truly one of the few good guys I have had the greatest pleasure to share time with throughout my life. He taught me so much - much of which has sustained me throughout my life. This morning I will say a special prayer for you and the kids and their kids. I know he was so proud of all of them and especially for you his companion and the love of his life. May GOD be with all of you in this time of your grief - celebrate the life of this honorable man. There are so few of them left.

My Dearest Partlow Family. My heart is so heavy with sadness in the loss of My Dear Friend. There are so many happy memories that I have to cherish and laughs that will continue forever. Jackie was with me at the birth of my son and was a shoulder I leaned on many times. His smile will always be remembered. May peace and comfort be with all of you and Linda, Jnae and Jason, cherish the memories. May God wrap his arms around you during this time. We all know that Heaven will never be the same with Jackie and Bart together. RIP My Friend. Love you All.
