JENKINS, Mr. Joe Melvin Age 75 of Tullahoma, TN formerly of Franklin, TN, May 27, 2010. Veteran of the U.S. Air Force; member of Jones Chapel Church of Christ. Preceded in death by parents, Joe & Edna Jenkins. Survived by sons, Joseph & Billy; daughters, Lorraine, Elizabeth & Theresa; brothers, Billy (Janice) Jenkins, Donald (Ann) Jenkins & Larry (Barbara) Jenkins; sister, Lorene (Ronnie) Wright; grandchildren, Christopher, Taylor, Cassidy & Nicholas; several nieces & nephews; special friends, Ellen Wright & Martha Harris; mother of his children, Joan McCready Jenkins. Funeral Service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Minister James E. Jones officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Joe Teal, Blake Brewington, Barry, Michael, Anthony, Don, Fred & Justin Jenkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ralph, James N., Elmer, Gary & Ed Jenkins, Floyd & Price Hunter & Kenneth Stevens. Extremely upset to lose another trully good old boy, He told it the way it was, and had a heart of gold. Myself, Wife, and children will miss him dearly. We love you Pappa Joe. God bless you for everything you have accomplished.
