Remembering Tom as our preacher at the Herrin Church of Christ in Herrin, Illinois, during his graduate school days, and my high school days. He and Linda were great influencers for good to our youth group. After I went to Harding and later became engaged, he agreed to marry Michael Payne and myself in Illinois. Seeing him at different venues over the years has always been a joy! Grateful to have known this wonderful man. Rest in your eternal joy Tom Holland!

I was just a baby when Bro, Holland preached at Wayne Furnace Church In Waynesboro. My family were members there. I am the daughter of Grady Nutt, who so loved Tom and helped him get started. He was in our home many many times. He loved my Mom's cooking. I am the youngest sister to Craig Lee, wife of Glann Lee. I also had Brother Holland as my Bible teacher at Freed Hardeman. This man is missed and will be missed by All who knew him. He is truly in paradise. Another of GOD's children going home. I love you, Tom Holland. May GOD bless and keep this family and comfort all.

To Linda and all the children and grans,
My heart goes out to you in the loss of Cousin Tom,
I know he will be indeed missed tremendously!
I am SO very thankful that you all had special times together in the end days.
He was indeed an inspiration to all who had the privilege to know him!
Having always lived so far from each other, I only heard him preach one special time. It was in the 80's at Trail Lake Church of Christ in Ft Worth, TX.
I happened to live there at the time.
My sweet Mother could never say too many good and special things about Tom. ( She was his Aunt Edna, his dad (my Uncle Ross' baby sister). She loved and admired him so very much!
I always felt a connection through her to Tom and his family.
His sister, Mary could talk about him with so much pride she would just beam when talking about her Tom. They shared a very special bond, she was a mother to him after their Mother passed away when Tom was just a small lad.
I know his family, friends, kin and all who ever knew him will feel a Hugh void for many, many years to come. I was so honored to claim him as kin!
The angels are rejoicing as well as all thise who went before him! The Grand Homecoming I'm sure will continue.

I hate I cannot pay my respects in person, but I want you to know how much I thought of your father. He was such a positive influence during my college years. I always enjoyed his classes and hearing him preach. He blessed many lives, mine included, and was a great servant of the Lord.

We were so blessed to have met Bro. Holland, he came many times to Cape Coral, Fl. to do gospel meetings, which we wintered there, one meeting when he was there on free time Ray got to take him fishing after hours of fishing, he said i'd better take you in so you can prepare your sermon for tonite, He said, what do you think I've been doing out here as I was fishing!! Thank you for being a blessing to all you met....

Brother Holland--"TH", as I often called him--was my friend, my teacher, my preacher, and my hero. My heart is broken by our losing him--but my heart rejoices for, now, the angels have carried him to Abraham's bosom! His "Vision of Victory" has been received!

My love and prayers go to his beloved and wonderful family!! I love you all and I am better and blessed for having known you all!
