Mom's spirit is still with me/us every day. When I most need it, her loving presence is palpable.

So often, Mom comes to mind... fond memories, realizing how she served as my teacher by example, her softening over time (from German upbringing), and unlimited unconditional love for family. I will be forever grateful for Mom and Dad. I was and continue to be so blessed.

Five years ago, our immediate family kept loving watch as Mom prepared to make her transition to the Spirit 'world'. My daughter Katie and niece Angie handled much of the physical care with profound, gentle love for the next few days of their grandmother's remaining time in the physical plane. Certainly Mom knew just how deeply we all loved her, how precious she was to each of us and to everyone whose life had been touched by her. I trust without any doubt that her spirit has joined with all her loved ones, especially with Dad and son Dave, who made their transition before her. And I know -- KNOW--that she continues to shine her Light and Love on us all. So many wonderful memories and loving thoughts surface often for me... I have so much to be grateful for to have had her as my mother, friend, and confidante. Thank you, God, for blessing us with Jean.

I returned to read Mom's obituary as I help write my mother-in-law's. Virginia Hazzard, my husband Ed's mom, made her transition at age 95. She moved on to the next level, fully Spirit and Light, on March 2, 2016, surrounded by her children. Re-reading our family's write-up for Mom has touched me unawares... she was always such an important part of my life, and she had become long ago my friend and confidante. What a lovely, loving, fun, simply awesome woman! I know she and Mom H. are part of the Divine that surrounds, enfolds, and flows through us. Divine Life is eternal, Divine Love everlasting.
I love you, Mom.
