Stephen Robinson Obituary
Sarra was the love of his life. They loved to laugh and had a hard time taking anything too seriously. There was nothing they couldn't take on together. They had five children together and their home was chaotic, and loud and wonderful.
Steve was the eighth child out of nine children. He was close to all of his siblings. He was the peacemaker in the family. He adored his big, crazy family. He and his family had all kinds of adventures from motorcycle treks through Yellowstone, dirt-bike rides in Escalante, scuba trips to Cozumel, or snowboarding trips to Utah - to the small things - playing Hearts on Xbox, ping-pong matches, rounds of disc golf, watching sporting events, spending holidays together or just sitting around enjoying each other's company. His favorite pastime was creating memories with the people he loved.
Stephen loved music. He played the piano, the guitar, and the tuba. He loved to sing and he filled our world with the magic of music.
Stephen graduated from Friendswood High School in Friendswood, Texas. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2010 with a BA degree in Economics. He received his MBA in 2013 from Notre Dame University. He was employed at Corning Inc. in the Gorilla Glass division as a Product Line Manager. He loved his work and his community.
Stephen loved his family and friends with all his heart. He loved his life and was truly happy.
The family would like to thank Corning Inc., the YMCA and the community for all of their love and support during this difficult time.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Sarra K. (Petrie) Robinson; children: Stephanie Anne (12), Elizabeth Jane (10), Lucas Samuel (5), Michael Benjamin (4), and Andrew Joseph (2); mother: Katharine H. (Harris) Robinson; father: Elmo L. Robinson and his wife Patricia, Siblings: Jeffrey (Michelle), Mary Kay Bradbury, Daniel (Richelle), Patrice (Erik) Davies, Joseph (Emily), Christine (Lehi) Woodrome, Amy (Matthew) Fackrell, Samuel (Kathryn); Step-siblings: Donald (Amy) Payne, John (Emily) Payne, Jessica (Zackery) Maloney and thirty-three nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Tanglewood Nature Center & Museum Auditorium, 443 Coleman Ave, Elmira, NY 14903 on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00am. Arrangements are entrusted to Carpenter's Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations for the family are being accepted at www.youcaring.com/sarrarobinson.

From everything I have heard, this was a man of great quality. This doesn't surprise me knowing his Dad reaches such high marks. It was my misfortune not to have known Stephen L. Robinson.

Steve was an all-around good guy. He had a great sense of humor and was always in a good mood. When we had picnics, we always had to make sure we had plenty of deviled eggs and peanut butter cookies. You will be sorely missed, my friend.
