Thank you for giving me so much laughter and kindness. I trust there are no thunderstorms in heaven...they were so scary to you!
And I miss you every day, my dear, sweet friend. We have a new granddaughter, Allaire, and Charlie is enamored of her. I so wish you could meet them, but know you are watching over them.

Thank you for taking me to see the Grand Canyon. It was a spiritual experience that reaffirmed for me there is a God. Paul and I hope to go there so he, too, can see the majesty of God´s artful hand.
I miss your gentle outlook on the world, but feel your presence in my life.

You are always in my heart. I try to focus on our thousands of funny moments (we really were Lucy and Ethel), but missing you always sneaks in.
To paraphrase the 23rd Psalm:
Surely goodness and loving kindness followed you all the days of your life. You will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

I think of her ALL the time! Stephanie was easily one of the best human beings I have ever known, and I am so blessed to have her as my friend. We laughed so often, we cried together, we comforted each other. She loved her family with all her heart and she held Norbert in her heart always. I miss her deeply.

Mrs. Broussard taught all three of my children at Sts. Leo Seton and she was always such a caring and nurturing individual. All of the children recognized her genuine concern for them and looked to her for advice and guidance. She will truly be missed...we have lost both a great person and a great educator. My prayers and those of my family are with her family during this most difficult time.

Stephanie was my 7th grade English teacher at Sts. Leo-Seton, and she is one of those who inspired me to study English in college.
I recalled tonight something I hadn't thought about in years--how she confiscated my biography of Elizabeth I, which I had been reading instead of diagramming sentences. She had a grin on her face at the time, and only years later, as an English teacher myself, did I understand why. To see a student so engrossed in a book that she doesn't pay attention to the lesson is exactly the sort of "misbehavior" an English teacher actually kind of likes.
I always admired Stephanie for her tremendous devotion to her students, her community, her family, and her faith. I extend my deepest sympathy to her family. Though I know it's a great loss, I hope you take some solace in knowing that her legacy lives on in those of us who were fortunate to have been her students.
God bless.

Ms. Broussard dedicated her life to her students and her craft. If you had middle school drama at SLS, Ms. Broussard was the person you needed to see. She was always there to listen to both sides, without judgment, and to lead us to a compromise. She was also there to lend an ear if you were just having a bad day. I am a teacher now and I hope I can be as caring, generous, and respectful as she was with her students. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will live on through the lives and deeds of her students. Thank you for all of the help and guidance through the years.

I was very saddened to see that Stephanie had passed away. I've known her since we were all students at St. Cecilia. Stephanie was sweet, kind and a dedicated educator for over 30-yrs. How many lives have been touched and enriched, because of her, including mine! I'm very sorry for those she's left behind. I feel sure, she's now at rest in God's Loving Embrace.

Stephanie was a truly good woman and a great friend. She touched thousands of lives, not only through her wonderful teaching, but by her example. She lived a life of kindness, generosity and great faith. I am humbled to have been her friend. I will miss this holy woman every day of my life. Her suffering was too long, her death so sudden. God has welcomed her back, no doubt with legions of angels singing glory alleluia!
