I am so sorry for your loss. I know you dont know me, but I am a mother who also lost a son 3 years ago. He was my only child. The obit was seen by my friends and could only gasp when they saw the picture of your son. He looks identical to my son. Hat and all. I only hope that GOD give you peace through your hard times. I know HE was the only one I could turn to. My heart goes out to your family.

Words can never explain how much Cody will be missed. He was a great friend that can never be replaced. I've had the pleasure of spending very much time with him. I'll never forget the first time I met him. He was welding his Lil heart out, and that's where the relationship began. From then on for the next year, it seemed like it was us against the world. He was so passionate about everything he did. From killing the big bucks to putting a cap on a weld. There is much to be learned from Cody. He loved life very much. I'll never forget the huge smile that was left on his face when he was the only one to take a big illinois whitetail on the tripe that we had takin. Cody you will be very much missed and never forgotten!

My words are not adequate to express the sorrow that I feel for your loss. Your son was an inspiration to everyone around him. He had a smile that was contagious and a personality that was so vibrant. When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure. Cody will remain a treasure in our hearts forever and always! We love you dearly, Cody-Co. Our hearts ache with you not here.

Take a deep breath, look up, close your eyes and imagine a tall white gate trimmed in gold with wildlife and angles everywhere. The gate is open with people smiling, laughing and having a great time. God needed more angles so he called Cody home. His angle wings are ready and fit perfect. He will always live in all the lives that he touched. May God be with Cody's family and friends.
