Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Dietrich family. For many many years the Dietrich family was our neighbors just down the block on Ridgemont. My Mom, Evelyn Alford, of Belaire, taught many of the Dietrich family. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

To all my Dietrich Kin.
It is with sadness that I add my thoughts to this book. It is so difficult to lose our senior family members. Not only do we lose their companionship but we lose the memories they held deep in his heart. It was many years before your Pennsylvania kin knew about all of you. It was a joy to meet each of you. I recall the Dietrich reunion at Billy Jr's camp by False River. Great-Uncle Donald shared information on our combined family. Later he mailed a very complete 10 page hand written summery of his children. How delighted and honored I was that he took the time to do that.
Please know that the few Dietrich’s left here in Pennsylvania (of the William Henry and Emma C Kissinger line) feel your loss. Last October my father William Henry and his brother Charles died.. Dad was 95 Uncle “Joe” was 93. They were living children of Chris’ brother Edward Henry Dietrich. They were the last of the 7th Generation of our Pennsylvania line. You all down there have all that remain with Chris’ children.
The Dietrich Family is Gathering in heaven waiting for us to one by one join them there. What a party that will be.
With much sorrow and love I will keep each of you in my prayers .
