Jason D. Lee

Jason D. Lee, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Denham Springs, passed away at Wilson N. Jones RMC in Sherman, Texas, on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the age of 37. A talented musician, he was an up and coming Indie Country Artist to which he won the Country Single of the Year for his song "Sweet Summertime So Fine" at the Indie Ville TV Awards. Jason is survived by his loving wife, Kelli Corkern Lee; children, Clair Lee, Hayden Lee, Gracie Lee, and Bentley Tetterington; mother, Wanda Lee and husband, Vernon Todd; father, Tony D. Dove; sister, Danielle D. Hernandez; grandmother, Lorraine Lee; in-laws, Ronnie and Shelly Corkern; sister-in-law, Stephanie Tubb and husband, Brandon; niece, MaKayla Tubb; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chad M. Dove; maternal grandfather, A.E. Lee; paternal grandmother, Alice B. King; and uncle, John Ducote. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 9 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Hillcrest Memorial Garden in Baker, La. The family would like to extend a thank you to his special family member, Phyllis Salter-Gann.
