To Larry's family:I just loved Larry. I came to know him through his floral arranging that he & his staff provide for our church altars. He was witty & kind. I was out-of-town when I recieved the sad news. Please know each of you are in my prayers. With a sad heart,

My beautiful and amazing friend has departed us for greener pasture and lofty clouds where only eternal peace reigns. Larry, you were an inspiration to so many with your creativity and intelligence. Your deep spirituality and doubtless faith in God are what always resonated within, encouraged, and sustained me and many others. Your spark for life will fade here but already shines anew in your heavenly garden. Your vast contributions to the quality of life in Baton Rouge, your selfless acts of kindness to friends and strangers alike, and your significant and overwhelming presence and warmth will not be forgotten. God bless and grant comfort to all your family and friends in their sorrow. Rejoice happily with Jesus, Mary, and the Saints in the "open court" of heaven, where tears and sorrow exist no more and are ours to bear in this earthly life. Until we see and embrace you again ...

Larry was the epitome of dignity, grace, strength and courage. His love and light shone through in all he did, and you could not help but smile when Larry greeted with you that big handshake or an embracing hug. His energy and smile could fill up a room, and when he spoke there was a hush because Larry came from a place of knowledge and experience. I will so miss my encounters with him, but treasure each and every memory. He is still so alive and vivid in my heart and mind. I love you to the moon and back Larry - and I will miss you dearly.
