Lisa Thomason-Tucker Obituary

Lisa Thomason-Tucker, a resident of Baton Rouge passed away early 10/31/21 at MD Anderson-Houston. She fought hard to stay here as long as possible, when diagnosed with a rare terminal cancer. She was 52 and a graduate of Belaire High and LSU. She worked in her parent's family business and then was caregiver for her mother, Betty for 17 years. Devoted wife for 28 years to her True Love. She enjoyed cooking, pets, reading, flowers, working in her garden, and the excitement of the holidays with 3 fully decorated trees. She was Forever LSU, a "diehard fan" for all LSU sports. Favorite places were beach and Friday nights with girlfriends. Lisa had a loving heart, was a pleasure to be around and will be missed. Proceeded in death by Father, Robert Thomason Sr, and Mother Betty Thomason. Survived by Richard Tucker II, two wonderful sons Richard Tucker III, Mathew Tucker, Mother in law Sheryl Dawkins, Nieces; Paige Smith, Kaelyn Smith, Emily Hunt, Anna Dawkins, Natalie Thomason, and Nephew Robert Thomason III along with many more beloved family members and friends. Special thanks to Sherry Tucker Smith for her support and kindness.
