To Ms. Stewart: God gives us each the gift of life to cherish from our birth, He gives us friends and those we love to share our days on earth, He watches us with loving care and takes us by the hand. He blesses us with countless joys and guides the lives we've planned, then when our work on earth is done he calls us to His side to live with Him in happiness where peace and love abide. May you find comfort in each loving memory and peace through your faith in God.

To the Hall Family: May the Lord be your comfort and strength during this time. Mildred drew her strength and love every day from her faith and family, and knowing her she held on to that till the end, she was my friend and mentor for over 20 years, and for that I will always be Blessed to have had her in my life. Now her time was short but never forget that she lived her life to the fullest. My Dear Friend
you will live forever in my heart, and I will see you again. R.I.P. My Friend

Mildred was the Senior Librarian at Montbello when I started working for the Denver Public Library. She was a wonderful person, and I remember how much Barbara Gross (who got the same position I got at Ford-Warren, but at Montbello, with Mildred as her supervisor) missed her when she retired. I was really shocked when I read the notice, today, about her passing away. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

To The Hall Family, I will miss Mildred dearly. I will miss her smile, understanding and her energy (physical and mental)..I remember coming into Ford-Warren in the mornings to do delivery and Mildred would have already started..I asked her what she was doing out there and she said the only way to understand her staff was to be them!!! I will NEVER forget those words! Peace and prayers to the family..

I loved Mildred dearly! At one point, I was her supervisor at Denver Public Library and I probably learned more from her than she ever learned from me. To: Mrs. Bessie S. Young & Family
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
"For every life has a purpose to fill, a purpose which us humans can seldom infer. But she was a gift from heaven, whose purpose was to make this world understand what love, friendship, goodness, and humbleness was all about. Goodness belongs to heaven, and I know she is watching us from there, bestowing her beautiful smile upon us. May her soul rest in peace."
Words are not enough to convey our sympathies at a time like this, but we just wanted to say, we love you.

I admired Mildred for her savvy and upbeat energy. When I would have conversations with her, it was like talking to my own grandmother that was how awesome and great she was.
