I was just talking about her with my son-in-law the other night, telling him how her wisdom of Life & words still are with ME to this day- and that my life is hard without being able to just call her-but I gather Comfort & peace knowing that I was Blessed to have had her in my life & that she is always looking out for me. Mildred was a woman of God which marked my life in this beautiful country. I will never forget her smile, tenderness, compassion, strength and her great heart full of love for others. Memories come to mind on the many shared moments while worked at Montbello. She was an extraordinary women. Prayers for her family. Rest in Peace Lady Mildred.

Hall family
Mildred will be greatly missed. She mentored me when I came to DPL as a new librarian. Though her I learned how to support and lead staff and work with the community I served. She always had a minute and a smile. I will miss her but remember all she gave.

Mildred you were a beautiful kind soul who made everyone around you feel so wonderful. I worked with you at Hadley for a little while, you inspired me in so many ways. Mildred had a light that can never be extinguished.Her passion and enthusiasm for life left a lasting mark on so many people, including me and my family. What an amazing Woman! She was incredibly warm, loving and her strength was something I always admired. Thank you Mildred, you treated me like family and always took such good care of your staff.

I got to know Mildred on my very first job at DPL. I learned a lot from her, especially, how to be kinder and gentler. She was amazing with customers and it was a joy to work with her!

Mildred was the Senior Librarian at Montbello when I started working for the Denver Public Library. She was a wonderful person, and I remember how much Barbara Gross (who got the same position I got at Ford-Warren, but at Montbello, with Mildred as her supervisor) missed her when she retired. I was really shocked when I read the notice, today, about her passing away. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

To The Hall Family, I will miss Mildred dearly. I will miss her smile, understanding and her energy (physical and mental)..I remember coming into Ford-Warren in the mornings to do delivery and Mildred would have already started..I asked her what she was doing out there and she said the only way to understand her staff was to be them!!! I accept my condolences for the passing of Mrs. Mildred, I am truly going to miss her and her wonderful hugs. I learned a lot from Mildred and one thing she showed me for sure was compassion and having a heart as a servant of the Lord. I've known Mildred since I came to Denver in 1978. She was a kind and and gentle soul and she was so fun to work with! The world has lost a wonderful gal but our loss is Heaven's gain! RIP Mildred.

I loved Mildred dearly! At one point, I was her supervisor at Denver Public Library and I probably learned more from her than she ever learned from me.
