Jerry Sparrow Obituary
Jerry Glenn Sparrow, age 77, passed away on Aug. 4, 2025. Jerry was the son of the late James Ray Sparrow and Hattie Mae Goodlett Sparrow. Jerry was U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Susan Lynn Carey Sparrow; his sons, Coty Sparrow (Michelle), Joshua Sparrow and Brandon Sparrow (Jennifer); and a grandson, Elijah Sparrow.
Including his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Stacy Kreschollek; his siblings, Joseph Harold "Joe" Sparrow, John Howard Sparrow and Jean Hope Sparrow; and a half-brother, James Randle Goodlett.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 17, 2025, at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Will Cooper officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Corinth Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
