Michael Ramp Obituary
Michael was a native of Augusta, GA. He attended Mt. St Joseph Academy and Academy of Richmond County. He was a member of the 319th Transportation Company with the Army Reserves as a Sergeant. He graduated from Augusta College where he earned a BA in Finance. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Hibernian Society, where he was past president, the Irish American Heritage Society, and St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. He retired from Wachovia Bank as Senior Vice President in Commercial Lending.
Family members in addition to his wife include his children: Allison Lynn Ramp and Jason Michael Ramp (Katherine); grandchildren: Robert Dalton Canuette, Ashton Canuette Miles (Cody), Amelia Rose Ramp, Olivia Grace Ramp, Henry Michael Ramp, Eleanor Anne Ramp, and Adelaide Elizabeth Ramp; great-granddaughter: Adalynn Miles; his brothers: Philip Ramp (Carolyn) and Stephen Ramp (Kathy); and stepchildren: Brooke Faulkner (Dwayne), Chris Pittman (Lindsey), and Matt Pittman (Jamee); and step grandchildren: McKayla and Aubrey, Coen and Sophie. He is preceded in death by his parents: Adrian and Rose Ramp; his brothers: Adrian ""Sonny"" Ramp and Richard Ramp and his granddaughter: Molly Rose Ramp.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Ross as celebrant. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the church.
