Joseph Armacost Obituary

Joseph "Joe" Murray Armacost Jr., of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on November 28, 1956, to Joseph and Mary Armacost, Joe lived a bold, passionate, and purpose-driven life that touched countless others. In Joe's own words: "I have had a fantastic full life. I had great parents who loved me very much and only wanted to see me do better than they did in their lifetimes. I went to very good schools - Holy Trinity, Mount St. Joe, and Glen Burnie High School. How many people can say they did the things I did in my lifetime? Racing motorcycles, being a professional drummer and singer, working in professional radio and video. Traveling the world and producing nationally recognized, popular podcasts - and finally, getting to play and sing in church. I was blessed to marry the love of my life, Maureen Armacost, who made a wonderful wife and mother to our two sons, Joey and Misha, who have been the biggest blessing in my life." Joe spent nearly 30 years as an executive producer for Talk Radio WCBM in Baltimore, a role he loved and excelled in. That experience became the launching pad for the next chapter of his professional journey - producing some of the most successful and widely recognized podcasts in the country. Joe's energy was unmistakable - whether behind the drums, in a radio studio, or performing at church. He had a deep love for storytelling, music, laughter, and most of all, his family. His career spanned music, broadcasting, video production, and podcasting. Everywhere he went, Joe brought joy, creativity, and heart. Joe's faith was central to his life. He openly and joyfully accepted Jesus Christ into his heart and found great purpose in sharing his gifts through worship and service. He is survived by Maureen; his cherished sons, Joey and Misha; and a wide circle of family and friends who will always remember his talent, humor, faith, and generous spirit. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Stallings Funeral Home in Pasadena, MD, from 3:00–5:00 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 1 pm at Community United Methodist Church, 8680 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena, MD. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Park will follow. Family and friends are invited to come together to share stories, music, and memories in honor of a life so fully and faithfully lived.

I saw Joe on the Dan Bongino show and he was so funny. He really impressed me as a producer of a podcast in the way he helped Dan. The conversations they had were great. I really was upset he left the show and I didn't know why. I send condolences to his family and friends and wish for them peace in their hearts to heal from this loss.

Once in a while, I used to listen to The Dan Bongino Show on Rumble almost every weekday at 11AM Eastern Time. Joe's booming voice which followed a boxing bell kicked off almost every weekday edition of the live show. Joe brought lively banter to the show and he was a very good-natured, hard-working producer. May he rest in peace. Sincerely, Peter, a frequent Rumble user

I go way back to the late 70's with Joe. He was the best hard hitting rock drummer I ever jammed with and a fun guy to hang out with. When he left for California I missed him and sadly never saw him again.

My condolences to Producer Joe´s family. I met Joe at CPAC 2020 as part of the Bongino Army. He dedicated an "It´s Friiiiiiiday" with me. What a beautiful soul who shared himself with so many that he never knew. May the good Lord welcome Producer Joe into His kingdom with love and adoration. He touched more souls than he ever realized. The pleasure was mine to have met the man behind the microphone.

I liked how Joe seamlessly and professionally produced the Dan Bongino Podcast on Rumble. Joe touched many lives. He was welcomed into my home daily at 10 am. Although I did not see him, he was part of my regular day. I will miss his banter with the host of the show. I was truly shocked to hear this. Well done good and faithful servant
