It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy Michelle Bean, age 53, who left this world on July 11, 2025. Wendy was born on August 12, 1971, in Maryland, and she spent her life bringing joy and light to those around her.
Wendy was a loving partner to Rodney Lowman and a devoted mother to her son, Jake Lowman, and his girlfriend, Autumn. She was the cherished daughter of James Lee Jr. and the late Wanda Lee, and a beloved sister to her brothers, James Lee III (and his wife Sherry) and Thomas Bean, as well as her sister Renee Cavada (and her husband Carmen) and god daughter Kaden Wolf. Wendy's family extended to her many nieces, nephews, and a tremendous circle of friends and her Ocean City Girls who will deeply miss her vibrant spirit.
She had a special love for the outdoors, particularly crabbing, fishing, and boating. The beach was her sanctuary, where she found joy in the sun and the feel of sand between her toes. Wendy also had a passion for travel, embarking on long adventures to Arizona that provided her with countless memories.
Her two beloved cats, BoBo and Tink, were a testament to her nurturing side, as she loved and cared for all beings around her. Wendy was a true friend to many, always ready to lend a helping hand and share a laugh.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Wendy's name can be made to Allegany County Animal Shelter.
