Bryan Nettles

Bryan Lanier Nettles, 62, of Brunswick, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Baptist Medical Center, in Jacksonville.

Mr. Nettles was born in Claxton, and had been a resident of Brunswick for 40 years. He graduated from Brunswick High in 1979. He continued on to Altamaha Tech, where he graduated with an associate degree. He worked for Hodnett Cooper Vacation Rentals. He enjoyed his grandkids who adored him and called him Papa.

Mr. Nettles is survived by his wife, Gail Ann Nettles of Brunswick; mother, Barbara Sellers of Brunswick; father, Herman Harlow of Marshall, Virginia; two daughters, Shelby (Lee) Mayfield and Liza (Drew) Hawkins, both of Richmond Hill; two granddaughters, Anderson Hawkins and Knox Hawkins, both of Richmond Hill; grandson, Memphis Mayfield, of Richmond Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of his life from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. The family would like to recognize some very special people as honorary pallbearers, Kirk Holman, Wayne Smith, Jamie Kehoe, George Knight, Billy Partin and Barnett Taylor.
