Brian McErlean Obituary
AGE: 60 • Belmar
Brian Patrick McErlean, 60, of Belmar, passed away peacefully at Geraldine Thompson Care Center in Wall Township on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014. Brian previously worked at two of his family's businesses, Carr's Hallmark Card Store and Holidaze Travel Agency, both located in Belmar. He had a great wit, loved to tell jokes and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Brian is predeceased by his parents, Richard and Mary Ellen McErlean and his sister-in-law, Carolyn. He is survived by his brothers, Richard John McErlean of South Carolina and Robert Francis McErlean and his wife Lois of Wall Township. He is also survived by 2 nieces and 4 nephews, Ryan McErlean and Laura Johnson and Kevin, Sean, Patrick and Karen McErlean plus 2 grand nephews, Daniel and David McErlean.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 8 from 9:30 to 11:00AM at Ely Funeral Home, 3316 Highway 33, Neptune NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11:30AM at the Church of Saint Rose in Belmar. Committal will follow at Saint Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt. Funeral arrangement under the direction of the Reilly-Bonner Funeral Home, Belmar NJ.
