Jan Taylor Obituary
Salinas - Jan Schaudra Taylor passed away Friday March 9, 2018 after a valiant fight with cancer. She was born on August 20, 1953 in San Francisco to George and Barbara Schaudra. Jan married Ronald Taylor on February 15, 1975 and they have 2 children.
Jan graduated from North Salinas High School in 1971. She is a member of a local Disney Club and Treasurer of several groups including Salinas/Tahoe bowling league, NSHS Class of '71 Reunion Committee, and the Monterey Chapter of NARPM and past treasurer of Ferrasci Little League. She loved trips to Disneyland, visiting family and friends, and spending time by the ocean.
Jan is the co-owner of Bay Property Management along with her sister, Gail. She has been the bookkeeper and office manager for over 30 years.
Jan is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ronald and sons, Scott Taylor of Las Vegas and Jimmy Taylor of Salinas. Sisters, Kim (Mike) Moran, Gail (Rudy) Valdez, brother, Mark Schaudra and brother in law, Rodney Taylor. Nieces, Jennifer (David) Parker, Tiffany Schaudra, Laura Valdez, and nephews Gary (Kellye) Moran, David Valdez, Jeremy Taylor and several cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sat. March 31st at 1:00pm at the Taylors house on Cornwall St.

My deepest sympathy to Jan's family. Jan and I met
at NSHS, and even though we knew each other, it was when I needed her assistance in property management many years later that I will always be grateful to her and Gail.

I am deeply sadden by Jan's passing. Although we had lost touch with each other after high school, it was always so much fun when we got together at the Class of 1971 NSHS reunions. I will always remember her smile, humor, and her love for her family. My deepest condolences to her family.
