Milton Mattern Obituary
Born on July 25, 1933, in Kellytown, Pa., he was the son of the late William L. and LaNetta (Wallace) Mattern.
On Nov. 24, 1962, in Sykesville, Pa., he married Dorothy (Orsich) Mattern. She survives.
Milton retired from the service department at various local car dealerships after 35 years of service.
He was an avid fan of DuBois Federation Baseball and an animal lover.
Milton is survived by two children, Brian P. Mattern of DuBois, Pa., and Jennifer J. Knepp and her husband, Patrick of Erie, Pa.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Perry, Robert, and Charles Mattern and two sisters, Jean Graham and Patricia Welsh.
There will be no public visitation.
Private funeral services will be held from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating.
Interment will be in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Sykesville.
Memorials may be placed with the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511.
