Samuel Conway Obituary
Sam was a family man who loved spending time outdoors, He was a proud coach of both football and baseball; and an avid Penn State football fan. He joined the Army at a young age and was deployed to the Vietnam War in 1969. Sam continued his military service until he retired at the rank of First Sergeant. He held multiple jobs after his military service until finally retiring as a corrections officer after over 10 years of employment.
In addition to his wife, Sam is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Orlando DeJesus of San Antonio, TX; son-and-daughter-in-law, James and Ashtyn Conway of Bonney Lake, WA; and grandchildren, Amber and Isabella DeJesus of San Antonio, TX.
His family will be putting his ashes to rest, next to his parents and brother, after a small ceremony on September 24, 2022 at 11 am at the Rockton Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.

I only learned of Sam's passing when I did a search after not hearing back from him after we had reconnected the year before! Sam and I served on recruiting duty here in New Jersey at the Garwood Recruiting Station, we would get out the gloves and he would pitch and I would catch for some exercise and bonding! Gone way to young friend and brother!

Sun Yi and Sam's family my deepest condolences! I just learned today from another friend of Sam's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss! I served with Sam in recruiting duty in New Jersey we shared a love of baseball and would play pitch and catch in the parking lot of the recruiting station in Garwood! Again, my condolences for your loss!

Sam's family;
I grew up with Sam and Corky in Sabula before his family moved to King of Prussia He was my second cousin and a good guy. God bless your family during this time of grief.
