Ruthie also enjoyed volunteering and gave much of her time to: 30 years in planting flowers with The Knightstown Square, Naples Botanical Gardens, and St. Matthew's House in Naples, FL. Ruthie spent her time both here in Indiana and in Florida. While in Indiana, Ruthie cherished her time spent with her children, grandchildren, and additional family and friends. While in Florida, Ruthie enjoyed soaking up the sun near the pool, going to the beach, and taking walks with her dog.

Ruthie is survived by her children: Trevor Bohnert (fiancé, Donna Timblin) and Nathan (Michelle) Logan; 9 grandchildren: Michael Bohnert, Thomas Bohnert, Lilly Logan, Alex Logan, Scarlett Logan, Violet Logan, Reese Bohnert, Lane Bohnert, and Cole Bohnert; sisters: Darlene Kordes, Shirley Heichelbech, Dottie Boeckman, and Sally Lee; sister-in-law, Nancy Smith; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and beloved dog, Finnley Rose.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 45 years, Norman Bohnert; and 5 siblings.

Got to know Ruthie through her business. As time went by she became a good and trusted friend. Always enjoyed stopping to chat. We had some really good talks. I had moved away from the area, She was a soul I always missed back home. Rest in peace Ruthie, thoughts of you will always remain with me
