Robert Eliasson Obituary

Robert Eric "Eli" Eliasson, age 78, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 15, 2024.
Eli was born May 17, 1945 in Buffalo, New York. He was the son of the late Eric Eliasson and Lola Vieau Eliasson. He was also preceded in death by a sister, June Andrews.
He loved all sports and played college basketball at Fredonia State College. He was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan. He had a love of the outdoors and loved animals especially dogs.
Eli honorably served in the United States Army during Vietnam receiving a number of honors and medals including the Bronze Star and Air Medal.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lara & Kipp Jackson; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Sabrina Eliasson; son, Kevin Eliasson; and daughter, Treasure Eliasson; grandchildren, Payton Jackson, Paycee Jackson, Brennan Eliasson, Beckett Eliasson and Jade Eliasson; and a number of other family and friends also survive.
Graveside services with military honors were held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
