Lori Le'Gwen Yates, 59, of Bradford, Ark.,entered her heavenly home on April 26, 2023, in Newport, Ark.
She was born March 14, 1964, in Big Springs, Texas, the daughter of the late Ralph and Blanche Miller (Ratliff). She married the love of her life, Charles Timothy Yates, in 1998.
Lori was a beautiful person. To know her was to love her and she loved everyone. Lori cared deeply for all those around her. For many years, she worked for Cabot School District as a nutritionist and paraprofessional. She touched many lives throughout her lifetime, always willing to help those in need. She was a God-fearing woman of faith and was confident in her final destination being with her Lord and savior. Lori enjoyed landscaping and working in her flower beds. She was also a firecracker with a witty sense of humor and a love for Elvis Presley and jewelry. Lori's family will forever cherish her memory.
She is survived by: beloved husband of 25 years, Charles Timothy Yates; her children, Le'Shea (Ronnie) Watlington, Serenity Leigh Yates, Anthony Perry Bradford and Timothy Joesph Thompson; her grandchildren, Holden Joesph Thompson, Daxton Keith Alexander, Pypr Boulanger and Xander Boulanger; her brother, Kevin (Laurie) Miller; her sister, Cherie Lynn Miller; and great-nieces, Destiny and Sophia. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Celebration of life will be held at Oakland Hill Baptist Church in Bradford, Ark., on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 1 p.m.

I celebrate your life from afar...I cant be there my sweet sister...but you will forever be in my heart.I know without a doubt your rejoicing with our savior this minute.I'll always remember the fun times we had when we would all play cards, drink ,camp live .....i mean live life too its fullest lol...You taught be to trust more an look up more often.Im glad you did because it grew my faith .Until we meet again Gwen

My sister, My friend. You are missed so terribly. Our world is dimmer because you're not here with us. I know you know how much you were loved here on Earth because we said it all the time. our entire family is that way, it's a hug and I love you as you greet someone or see them off on their way. That's just the way it's always been as well as showing each other how much we love each other in doing everything we can to help each other and God knows you helped me through life. I appreciate you my friend. I'll see you on the other side.
