Alfred Charles Madison

Alloway Twp. - Alfred Charles Madison, 54, of Alloway Township passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at home.

Born in Ridley Park, PA, he was the son of the late William A. and Rosalie Madison.

From a young age, Alfred had a passion for thoroughbred horse racing and ownership. He loved baseball card collecting and attending card shows. His passion for the beach was contagious. Al encouraged us to go to the boardwalk, ride the rides, and eat all the boardwalk food. He would eat everything there until he was sick!

Al also loved slipping away to a Caribbean Island and enjoying mudslides and the clear blue water.

He was a great story teller and entertained us with his quirky view on events and life situations. He had a story for every family gathering.

He loved his family and we loved him back. He had a very close relationship with all the nieces and nephews as well as his two grand nephews. He valued his long-time friend Bob and had a close relationship with his family as well.

He will be missed terribly as we hold his memory close in our hearts.

Surviving are his brother, Dr. William Madison, Jr. of Pittsgrove; his sister, Donna Torres of Toms River; his brother in law, Greggory Garton of Alloway; his niece Ashley Guglielmo of Alloway; his nephew, Matthew Garton of Alloway; his niece, Nicole Madison of Pittsgrove; his nephew, William Madison of Pittsgrove; his niece, Jessica Jargowsky of Pennsville and his nephew, William Jargowsky of Lindenwold.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Sherri Garton, his sister in law, Denise Madison and his brother in law, David Torres.
