Julia E. (Barnabei) Spinelli

AGE: 95 • Vineland

Julia E. (Barnabei) Spinelli, 95, of Vineland, passed away on November 11, 2016 from natural causes after a brief illness, surrounded by her two sons and their spouses.

Julia was born in Brockton, Massachusetts to the late Anthony and Mary Barnabei. She had 11 brothers and sisters; John Barnabei, Josephine Marghella, Rose Darminio, Louise Jacob, Viola Curcio, Caroline "Nina" Jennings, Lilian Castellini, Louis Barnabei, Anthony Barnabei, Albert Barnabei, and Margaret Jacobson.

She was a loving and loyal wife to Angelo F. Spinelli for 30 years prior to his passing in 1981.

Julia attended Vineland High School and worked at Kimble Glass and Dale Fashions Clothing on Oxford Street in Vineland. She was a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union (ILGWU).

Julia loved to travel and to see faraway places. In her younger years she was an in home tailor, fixing clothing for the entire family. She loved to have her grandchildren and great grandchildren come home and visit. She enjoyed doing word finds and crossword puzzles. Her passion was in the garden, growing vegetables and flowers. Julia was a hard worker and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmom. Julia was the rock of the family, is loved, and will be missed tremendously by her family and friends

She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law; Charles A. Spinelli &Doreen and Paul F. Spinelli & Josephine all of Vineland; grandchildren, Stefanie Kreider and Karl of Wilmington, DE, Debbie Spinelli of Las Vegas, NV, Gregory Spinelli and Lynn of Woodbridge, VA, and Paul A. Spinelli and Heather of Kingsville, MD; great grandchildren, Emeline and Ava Kreider, Jacoby Spinelli, and Angelo Spinelli; brother Albert Barnabei; her sister Margaret Jacobson and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and in-laws.

Funeral home visitations will be held on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm and again on Wednesday morning from 10am to 11am at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday morning at 11:30 am from Christ The Good Shepherd Parish - Church Of Sacred Heart, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland.
