Ramonita Torres Obituary

Ramonita Torres

AGE: 71 • Millville

Ramonita Torres, 71, of Millville, went to be with our Lord on April 3, 20015 after an extended illness. She worked at the Vineland Developmental Center in Vineland for over 23 years. Ramonita loved life and devoted her time to taking care of her late father, Marcelino Lopez, and her surviving mother, Rosa Lopez. She took great joy in watching all of her nieces and nephews grow up and loved all of them deeply. She especially loved her nephews Ricardo Ramos and Eric Colon because, as she put it, they were like her own sons.

Ramonita is predeceased by her father, Marcelino Lopez. She is survived by her mother, Rosa Lopez; her brothers, Pablo Lopez, Cesar Lopez, and Oriol Lopez; her sisters, Gladys Lopez, Alma Soto, Rosa Ramos, and Virgen Colon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews who loved and adored her. Ramonita will be truly missed by her entire family; however, the fact that she is now with her father, Marcelino, in heaven, give them comfort during this difficult time.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday in the Parish of All Saints Church starting at 10am. Relatives and friends will be received at the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday from 8:30am until 9:30am. Burial will follow the Mass, in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Written condolences can be sent to [email protected], or visit our web site; www.rocapshannon.com or SNJToday.com
