Sara (Delfino) Drogo, 89, born and raised in Hammonton, and a lifelong resident of Landisville, passed away peacefully, at home, on Thursday, July 5, 2012, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.
She was a member of the Roller Skating Association of America and, along with her late husband, Carlo, was a founder of the Rollway Skating Rink in Hammonton and Drogo Trucking in Landisville. Sara was a very giving person who loved donating to the needy and homeless. She also enjoyed casino trips.
She was a loving and caring mother to Mary Lynn Drogo (Rich Giordano), Sam Drogo (Teri), Angela Motter (Frank), Rita Bagliani (Vince); and also a grandmother to Sam Drogo Jr., Tammy Drogo, Carlo Drogo, Jo Drogo, JoAnn Drogo, Cheri Starn and Franny Smith a great-grandmother of 12. She also was a loving sister to Angela Pierce (John Cipparone), Mary Ann Midure (Joe) and Thelma Raso (Jim); and sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Delfino and Francis (Drogo) Organski, as well as close family friends, Carlo and Richard.
Sara was predeceased by her loving husband, Carlo; brothers, Pat and Joe Delfino; and sisters-in-law, Carrie (Drogo) Marcus and Angie (Drogo) Johnson.
She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral home visitations will be held on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., and again on Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 am from St. Padre Pio Parish-Church of Our Lady of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Ave., Vineland.
Interment will follow in Our Lady of Victories Cemetery, Landisville.
Arrangements are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service.

I knew Sara very well.She was a kind and caring lady.She never turned any child away from skating the kids all refered to het as mom.I had the wonderful pleasure of being with her every day. she will always have a special place in my heart.to the girls and Sam your mom is with dad looking down on all of you.
