Tracy Andersen Obituary

Tracy Ann Andersen

AGE: 55 • Dennis Township

ANDERSEN, TRACY ANN, - 55, of Dennis Township, passed away suddenly, unexpectedly, and far too soon on March 3, 2017, due to complications from Parkinson's Disease. Tracy lived with her illness for 14 years, and remained fiercely independent and eternally optimistic the entire time. Tracy grew up in Vineland and was a 1979 graduate of Vineland High School, where she was academically gifted, captain of the dance squad and prom queen. She graduated from Seton Hall University with a degree in communications, specializing in film production. Tracy lived in Philadelphia, Roebling, Trenton and Margate. She worked for multiple companies over her career as a video producer, production manager, graphic designer, stage manager and web designer. Her true passion, however, was photography. Tracy brought her camera with her everywhere she went and accumulated thousands of photos, which she stored in chronological order in photo albums, at least until photography became digital. She also excelled at building animated slide shows, in which she set photography to music, and created them to commemorate special occasions for family and friends. Tracy loved to attend big events, such as Live Aid, the Statue of Liberty Bicentennial, the World Series, New Year's Eve in New York City and the Papal visit to Philadelphia. She had multiple circles of friends, and was frequently on the road to visit them. Tracy is pre-deceased by her mother, Winifred Marie (Daly). She is survived by her father, Allan (Patricia); her sister, Donna (Terrence Kelly), and her brothers, Douglas (Catherine) and Gregory. She was devoted to her nephews and niece, Austin, Ryan, Collin and Lauren Andersen, as well as her many younger cousins. Tracy will be sorely missed by all of her family and friends, and by her beloved cats, Sammie, Spooky Girl and Kazee. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 24, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Isidore the Farmer Church, 1655 Magnolia Road, Vineland, N.J. Instead of flowers, please consider a donation in Tracy's memory to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, at www.michaeljfox.org.
