Steven Hodge Obituary

Steven Anthony Hodge

Born: October 1, 1955 | Died: July 15, 2025

Steven A. Hodge, age 69 of Knoxville, died suddenly at home on July 15 of complications from a seizure disorder.

Steve is survived by his sister, Shirley Pietrucha (Robert); brothers Phil Hodge (Debbie) and Michael Hodge (Melinda) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents, Victor and Nadine Hodge.

Steve was a graduate of Porter High School and the University of Tennessee, where he earned a B.A. in Business. Steve was a longtime member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He was an avid sports fan, enjoying all competitions, especially football and baseball, often rooting for the underdog instead of a favorite team. His acquaintances called him Mr. Steve and all describe him as a really nice guy who will be missed.

Family and friends will assemble for the Graveside service at 9:00 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Grandview Cemetery. Condolences may be shared through Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.SmithFuneralandCremation.com
